PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
BP-500A-DV is an organic ammonium modified hectorite dispersed in isododecane under special process. This product has high viscosity and shear dilution. It has good rheology and suspending property for cosmetics containing organosilicone. Besides, it controls thermostable viscosity in emulsion’s oil phrase, improve performance, enhance skin-feel by masking oily or viscous component, and bring silky feel on skin. BP-500-A-DV is an alternative of traditional polymers or cellulose ether thickeners. It could improve the compatibility with other component and enhance the stability of the formulation.

Usage
BP-500A-DV can be added at any stage of production. To achieve homogeneous mixing of BP-500A-DV and low viscosity component, it suggests using medium to high speed shearing equipment for dispersing. Put BP-500A-DV into available organic components or solvents until completely dispersed.
For emulsion products, to ensure the BP-500A-DV has been fully dispersed before the emulsification stage.
In multi-manifold system, BP-500A-DV should be mixed with oil or solvent to get pregel ready separately, then slowly add the compatible component in proportion, ensuring the mixture keeps homogeneous at each stage.
Dosage
The dosage depends on formulation. Addition of 2.5-10% can improve suspension. Addition of 3-5% will make emulsion effect novel and giving light touch feel. In some W/O systems, using BP-500A-DV can reduce the dosage of surfactant. Higher level of BP-500A-DV will affect much on viscosity, and thermostable viscosity will be increased by 10-25%
Shelf life
Packed in food grade plastic drum with weight of 25±0.25kg, or customized package. The product contains Isododecane, store away from excessive heat. Validity is within 24months.
